DCCC Staff Union Logo

When Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) staffers announced their plan to unionize in 2022 before the mid-term elections, I volunteered to design their logo. They chose to affiliate with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, specifically their “Campaign Worker” chapter.

Draft Versions

I submitted initial drafts for the DCCC staff union leadership. My initial direction went with a shield, incorporating the stars and stripes. I submitted a circular version because circles make versatile logo shapes, especially in social media profiles. The staff union decided on the circular version, and versioning those out.

The DCCC staff union leadership wanted to incorporate the Teamster logo’s red and blue into a version of the circle logo.

However, they also wanted a version of the staff union logo that incorporated the DCCC logo’s colors. This was for use in correspondence with DCCC management, which would be using DCCC branding.
